Add Wash-Sale Guardian to your home screen

This puts an icon on your phone that opens the checker in full screen. It is the same website, not a separate app: nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and your ledger stays in that phone's browser.

iPhone or iPad (Safari)

1. Open wash-sale checker in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
3. Tap Add.

Android (Chrome)

1. Open wash-sale checker in Chrome.
2. Tap the menu (three dots), then Install app or Add to Home screen.
3. Confirm.

Good to know

• Your data stays on that phone, in that browser. A home-screen icon on a different phone or in a different browser starts empty. To move your ledger, use Download ledger backup under "Your data" in the checker, then restore it on the other device.
• Phone browsers can clear a website's saved data, especially when storage runs low or the site goes unused for a long time. Download a backup after each session.
• It needs a connection to open, like any website; once the checker is open, it keeps working without one. It does not send notifications.
